Mobile Clinic

We are raising money to buy a mobile clinic for the Our Lady of the Rosary Orphanage in Uganda. Our goal is to provide a 42 foot, fully equipped Mobile Medical Clinic; we would like to provide critical medical supplies and staffing for three years. The home base of the Our Lady of the Rosary Mobile clinic will be the orphanage. It will also be used to provide medical care to surrounding villages.

The Story of Our Lady of the Rosary Orphanage

Our Lady of the Rosary started in 2012 when a faithful married couple adopted three orphans, whose parents had died of HIV/AIDS. Eight years later, that couple’s son, Father Joseph Lugalambi, with help from people in the town of Ave Maria, Florida, started Our Lady of the Rosary Orphanage and School that now houses and educates 548 children. The school and orphanage are located in Father Joseph’s village, Nabutongwa in Masaka Diocese, Uganda.

More About the Orphanage

Mission Statement:
We are a Catholic Primary School and Orphanage under the patronage of Our Lady of the Rosary. Our students encounter Christ and receive a holistic education that forms an all- rounded person, body and soul. Our students deepen their love of God and neighbor through celebration of liturgies, in classrooms, and in community life.

Motto:
Timor Domini principium scientiae, The fear of God is the beginning of knowledge (Prov. 1:7)

Services provided:
We provide accommodation and education to orphaned 548 children.

Past Projects:

Thanks to generous donations to Maria Vision USA specifically directed to the Uganda mission, a new dormitory dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe was built. This dormitory houses nearly 500 orphans.
